Who We Are

The NorthWind Power Development Corp. (NorthWind) is a Manila-based company dedicated to bringing clean and green power to the Philippines.

 

Through the NorthWind Project, it operates a power generation plant consisting of 15 wind turbines located along the scenic coast of Bangui, Ilocos Norte. The 24.75 MW wind power plant in Bangui is the first and largest in Southeast Asia today.

 

Northwind was incorporated on June 15, 2000, under SEC Registration Number A2000082109, with the primary purpose of owning and operating power facilities and selling electricity to utilities and/or private entities, offering an alternative to utility operators in addressing the increasing cost and demand for electricity.

Northwind’s shareholders benefit from years of solid experience in the field of power and energy systems. Northwind is managed by experienced professional entrepreneurs led by Chairman of the Board Ferdinand A. Dumlao and its Danish President Niels Jacobsen.
