The Bangui Bay Project utilizes modern technological innovations in energy enhancement. Accordingly, this translates to certain technological benefits.

With the establishment of a 57km 69kV line constructed by NorthWind, the project:

• Improves the stability and electrical quality for Ilocos Norte Electric Cooperative (INEC)
  • Power fluctuations in the coverage area is therefore prevented

• Minimizes INEC’s system losses in both generation and transmission sources

• Encourages load growth and new industries
  • The 69kV voltage transmission line runs strategically along the main access road north of Laoag, Ilocos Norte
